Prior to becoming a Consultant for Neon Legal, Robert was the Head of Pensions at a large commercial law practice with offices in London and the North.
Robert specialises in pensions and employee share incentive schemes. His corporate work has included private company acquisitions and disposals as well as flotations.
Robert has contributed to trustee training sessions with actuaries Watson Wyatt (now part of Towers Watson) for about 10 years. He has had a number of articles published in Pensions World, most recently on gender equalisation in pension schemes.
In 2010, The Legal 500 reported that “under the guidance of Robert O’Donovan [his previous firm’s] pension service consistently 'exceeded all expectations'", and in 2009, described him as a “'breath of fresh air' – is recommended”
Robert is based in London and has an MA in Economics and Law from the University of Cambridge.Meet our people
