Each year, the day-to-day task of running a pension scheme becomes a greater burden on trustees, who are also subject to increasing scrutiny from the Pensions Regulator.
In order to ensure that you meet your obligations as a trustee, we can help you in many ways, from understanding the powers and duties set out in your scheme’s trust deed and rules, to advising in respect of member and benefit issues (such as death in service), to preparing a compliance and governance report detailing any areas of concern with suggested solutions.
We also design and offer bespoke trustee and management training on pensions to aid in the Trustee Knowledge and Understanding process that the Pensions Regulator requires all trustees to undertake. This could be an hour on a particular topic at the end of your trustee meeting or a full day session tailored specifically to your scheme.
Our trustee training is provided either at our office or at your workplace. We do not charge per head and our trustee training is designed around your scheme documents and personal situation.
